mother why cant you love me
as much as you love them
how would you feel if i disappeared today
and you never saw me again
mother why dont you love me
it hurts me everyday
it affects me in everything i do
and still you have nothing to say
mother where did i go wrong
to make you feel this way
i can see it when you look at me
there's the faintest glint of hate
mother i was only a child
and a child i will remain
wondering why dont you love me
and fighting for it again
so i guess you'll never love me
there is nothing here to gain
but that little child inside my heart
will keep coming back again
